Alyssa believes that growth can, at times, be very uncomfortable, and she wants to be there to help offer a space of comfort to guide you through those uncomfortable moments along your journey.
Alyssa Graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a Master’s in Professional Counseling- Clinical Mental Health. She has experience working in a psychiatric hospital with
inpatients from adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. She also has experience working with individuals one-on-one in a counseling clinic. Alyssa uses a Person-Centered approach with all of her clients. She currently works with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Narrative Therapy.

Alyssa has worked with individuals who have experienced depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, conflict in interpersonal relationships, and general life stressors. She has also worked with individuals that are trying to find their true authentic selves.
Alyssa loves being true to her authentic self and encourages others to fully embrace themselves and be who they want to be as a person. In her free time, she enjoys watching anime, playing
Pokémon Go and traveling.
