Carol Dupre, MSW, LICSW
Carol Dupre obtained her MSW from Westfield State University. Prior to this degree, she served in various community settings including teaching science grades 5-12, being employed as a residential home counselor, and being a parental aide in a private home. Other roles she has enjoyed have been assisting on a thoroughbred horse farm and being a volunteer Service-Oriented Puppy Raiser. She has also volunteered as an AmeriCorps VISTA for a Food Bank, volunteer coordinating and holding outreaches to address food insecurity matters with many populations: the previously incarcerated, the homeless, senior citizens, and school children as well as volunteer coordination. Carol is trained in trauma-focused therapy, uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and continues to develop skills in order to meet the individual client’s specific needs. Continuing to lean and utilize the healing capabilities of animals in a therapeutic session has been a longtime goal. Other interests include caring for pets and participating in theater and singing groups.
