Jessica Calcut-Bennett, M.A., lmhc
Jess prides herself for being an LGBTQIA+ affirming Licensed Mental Health Clinician and is part of the community herself. She graduated with her Masters in 2014 at Lesley University in Expressive Arts Therapy with a Specialization in Mental Health Counseling and enjoys engaging her clients wherever she goes in art therapy and the broader creative arts.
Has worked in Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Inpatient Hospitalization Programs for adolescent and adults over the course of 7 years and worked up to become the Director of a Primary Mental Health Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Program for Adults before shifting her work into the Primary Care Setting where she still provides behavioral health services.
Jess has worked with people who have lived through trauma, anxiety, depression, conflicts in relationships, exploring identity, self-harm, substance use, and need for strengthening resiliency. Jess has a person-centered and strengths-based approach that creates a space for her clients to feel vulnerable and to be challenged in sessions. Both she believes are essential for growth, healing, and creating valued and meaningful experiences.
