Kate Hodges, msw, licsw
I enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds and spiritual traditions and have experience working with those who have intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as co-occurring disorders.
My area of focus includes anxiety, depression, trauma, anger issues, grief, shame, guilt, and substance abuse. Treatment modalities that I utilize in practice include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Anger Management, Grief Counseling, Trauma-Focused CBT, Expressive Therapy, and DBT.
I value a humanistic and client-centered approach by providing a warm, nonjudgmental environment. Using my trauma-informed care training, I empower clients to realize their innate goodness and potential so they can harness their own strengths and make positive changes.
