Mary holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bridgewater State University and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a pre-licensed mental health counselor with over thirteen years of experience supporting teens and young adults with autism and other developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Mary currently serves as the Co-Executive Director of Community Autism Resources, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the autism community. Her work in the nonprofit world inspired her to pursue clinical counseling, with a focus on providing neurodiversity-affirming care to autistic adults, parents of autistic children, and professionals in the field. Her approach draws from experiential, narrative, and psychodynamic therapies, with a strong emphasis on person-centered care.

Mary integrates her lifelong passion for animals and the outdoors into her therapeutic work. She has been riding horses for 35 years and previously worked at a therapeutic riding facility. She believes that the calming environment of the farm, along with the presence of animals, can help ease barriers in therapy and support deeper connection. Outside of her clinical work, Mary enjoys hiking, live music, spending time with her horse and dogs, and exploring nature with her husband and two children.
