Nate Derhagopian, MSW

Nate provides an empathetic, affirming, and non-judgmental space where you can show up as your whole self. His approach is person-first and grounded in the belief that you are more than your symptoms, diagnoses, or circumstances. His passion is working with queer youth and young adults as they navigate identity, relationships, mental health, and the many challenges that come with growing into who they are.

He works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, complex PTSD (CPTSD), relationship conflicts, difficulties related to self-worth and identity, and substance use and co-occurring disorders. He also supports clients through identity exploration, including questions around gender, sexuality, relationships, and developing a stronger sense of self.

His therapeutic approach is collaborative and individualized, drawing from CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, inner-child healing, trauma-informed care, psychoeducation, and attachment-based therapy. Nate believes therapy does not have to be about “fixing” who you are. His goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported while developing the insight, skills, and self-compassion to move toward a life that feels more authentic and meaningful.
