Nico is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Boston College. She is a Certified QPR Gatekeeper Training Instructor and Certified Mental Health First Aid Course Instructor. With over five years of clinical experience in college counseling and community mental health, she helps adults cultivate healthier, more authentic relationships with themselves and others.
Nico’s work is grounded in relational healing, self-compassion, humor, and empowerment. She specializes in supporting women, LGBTQIA+ clients, couples, and those in non-traditional or polyamorous relationships. She also works with men who are interested in deconstructing harmful narratives of masculinity to live with greater emotional freedom and authenticity.
Nico’s integrative approach pulls from IFS, CBT, ACT, CPT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy, with an emphasis on trauma-informed, collaborative care. Her areas of expertise include trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, identity development, and life transitions.
Outside of work, Nico can be found writing and performing music, spending time outdoors with her two dogs, knitting, metal detecting, reading, and connecting with her community.
