Clinical counseling is where AVIV began and it remains at the heart of what we do. Our main service is providing thoughtful, individualized outpatient counseling that meets each person where they are and helps them move toward where they want to be.

At AVIV, we believe therapy doesn’t have to look the same for everyone. Our clinicians provide traditional clinical counseling while also offering options that allow care to happen in a way that feels comfortable, meaningful, and supportive to each individual. Sessions may take place in our office, on a farm, alongside an animal, during a walk-and-talk session, or virtually. The setting may change, but the goal remains the same: creating a safe, supportive space for you to do the work that matters.

Our clinical counseling services are standard outpatient mental health care and can support individuals navigating a wide range of concerns, including life transitions, relationships, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, personal growth, and other challenges that may be impacting day-to-day life. Our clinicians use evidence-based therapeutic approaches and work collaboratively with each client to develop a treatment approach that is personalized to their needs, goals, and strengths.

AVIV is in-network with several insurance companies, allowing eligible sessions to be billed through insurance. For individuals who do not have insurance, cannot use their insurance, or prefer to self-pay, our self-pay rate is $175 per individual counseling session.

Whether you are looking for traditional therapy, a different environment for your sessions, or simply a clinician who will meet you where you are, AVIV is here to help you find the approach to care that is right for you.
