Caitlin Rattigan
M.A., LMHC

Assistant Director

  • Growing up riding horses, Caitlin was always interested in exploring the different therapeutic benefits that animals can provide. After graduating from Bridgewater State University, Caitlin has worked in different environments including after school, residential, school based, and outpatient programs. She also has experience volunteering at a therapeutic riding center for children and adults with special needs. Through this experience, the biggest takeaway learned is that not all clients may benefit from counseling in a traditional setting. This includes seeing the healing impact that animals can have for clients. Caitlin enjoys sharing her love for animals with her clients and seeing clients grow.

Caitlin has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with various mental health struggles  Some of these include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, substance use, neurodivergency, and personality disorders. She believes that it is also always important to work with a trauma-informed and strength-based approach. Currently, Caitlin is offering EMDR and narrative-based therapies, along with animal-assisted therapy. With client collaboration Caitlin is passionate about helping clients find their own potential.

In her free time, Caitlin can be found at the barn, by the water, with family and friends, or snuggling with her dog Keely, who she also brings to the farm as her co-therapist.
